9/6 Comments

I did not realize the importance of each person's role in the negotiation process. It reminds me of the stage. We must adopt a role and stay in character. It is important not to muddy the process by crossing over into someone else's role. It will be interesting during the simulation to see if we can accomplish this task.

I also find this to be a pretty interesting comparison. I have participated in traditional bargaining only so I cannot comment on IBB. However, it did feel very much like you were locked into "roles". It felt like there was pressure to stay within those roles even though sometimes it seemed like being able to step out of the traditional roles might have sped along the process.
